Dryer went on strike!

Over the summer we went to a garage sale and picked up a nice stand alone line dryer! The ones that look like an inside out umbrella. I think they are even called an umbrella line dryer!

I was so excited since I've been wanting one for a while now! Hubby set it out on our little deck in the back of the house and I was set! Went and bought some clothes pins (the kiddos think they are called paper clips) and all summer I hauled out the clothes to the deck paper clipped them on and tossed them in the dryer after they were done drying! The dryer is nice to help fluff them back up or if I accidentally left the clothes out to long the dryer was nice to get them unstiffened (is that even a word?!?!?).

SO of course in the great wet state of Oregon (AKA the rain forest) we already were getting tons of nasty rain by mid September! NO more outside drying for me. Of course right when I decided that, the dryer went on strike and no longer heats! It spins but that's about it! I hauled in the line dryer into the already tiny one butt kitchen and kept line drying but now the clothes take twice as long to dry! It is kind of hard to dry multiple loads of laundry on one drying rake that only holds one load of clothes!

Now to the dilemma at hand (we always have dilemmas here, I just have to focus on one at a time!) I figured with having to start using the pellet stove I'd be set to help dry the clothes on the drying rake problem is, is the drying rake is in the kitchen and the pellet stove is in the small living room! Darn what to do what to do! My solution....buy a mobile smaller drying rake!! Found them on amazon that are heavy duty too!

Now I just have to get one!
